Job Description
This Principal HW Engineer role focuses on hardware design, low-level software development, and system-level architecture for new hardware designs. The ideal candidate will be a subject matter expert in C programming, Linux kernel integration, and hardware networking. They will contribute to the integration of hardware and software, drive Linux distribution development, and lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Science (or equivalent)
- 15+ years of professional experience in software design and development in hardware networking
- Expert-level proficiency in C, C++ and Linux kernel internals
- Strong experience in Hardware bring-up and System Firmware, with experience in Baseboard Management
- Strong background in embedded security, particularly Hardware Root of Trust
