Job Description
GHGSat is a leading provider of greenhouse gas detection, measurement, and monitoring services to industrial and government customers. They use satellite data and sensors to monitor emissions and offer a platform for analyzing environmental data. The company is seeking a Senior Backend Developer to join the Operations Systems team and contribute to the design and deployment of software systems processing emissions data.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
- 5+ years’ experience in relevant roles
- Strong computational science or software development skills
- Proven capability with: Linux, Python, Docker
- Experience with Cloud-based services (AWS)
- Competence with databases (PostgreSQL)
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal direction
