Job Description
GHGSat is seeking a Director of Business Development to expand its presence within federal, provincial, state, and international government markets. This role focuses on driving the identification, pursuit, and acquisition of strategic contracts related to greenhouse gas monitoring and space observation. The ideal candidate will be a strategic advisor, capable of leading the full lifecycle of government proposals and building strong relationships with government stakeholders.
Requirements
- Develop and execute GHGSat’s government contracting strategy.
- Lead the full lifecycle of government proposals (RFI, RFP, RFQ, grants, and tenders).
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with contracting officers and partners.
- Monitor government procurement priorities in climate change, space observation, defense, and environmental sustainability.
- Advise senior leadership on bid/no-bid decisions.
- Strong proposal writing and management skills.
