Ferrous Supervisor - Laverton

The Ferrous Supervisor will be accountable for the safe and reliable operation of the Laverton Ferrous yard, rotating weekly across day and afternoon shifts. Responsibilities include daily toolbox meetings, monitoring shift targets, ensuring employee training and competence, and enforcing safety standards.

Requirements

• Demonstrated success in a similar leadership role with 3-5 years experience
• Previous experience in scrap metal, recycling, waste management or civil industries
• Experience within a unionized environment, desirable
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Understanding of scrap metal, desirable
• Experience operating fixed and mobile plant, desirable
