Senior Cloud Software Engineer

Genesys empowers organizations to improve customer and employee experiences through its AI-powered Experience Orchestration platform. The company is seeking a Senior Cloud Software Engineer to help drive security, compliance, and automation across its global cloud platform.

Requirements

• Design, develop, and test cloud services and tooling that meet stringent security and compliance requirements.
• Implement secure coding and architectural best practices across microservices and cloud workloads.
• Mentor and guide junior and mid-level engineers within the team.
• Develop automation scripts to support operational efficiencies and security workflows.
• Integrate internal and external systems using RESTful APIs and modern integration patterns.
• Build and maintain CI/CD deployment pipelines and ensure high-confidence automated releases.
• Create comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure quality and reliability.
• Engineer services to be resilient, observable, self-healing, and able to operate at global scale.
• Participate in peer design and code reviews, contributing to continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with GDPR, PCI, HIPAA, and other relevant security and privacy standards.
• Uphold the Genesys Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.
