Job Description
As a Body Controls Calibration and System Test Engineer at General Motors, you'll play a critical role in developing and validating the electronic control systems that bring our vehicles to life. You'll own technical solutions from concept through validation, act as a subject matter expert, and collaborate across teams to deliver safe, reliable, and high-quality vehicle systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Computer, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in calibration, testing, or validation of automotive systems (body controls experience a plus).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in performing testing in multiple test environments (HIL, Vehicle, Virtual).
- Strong background in system requirements, design analysis, and test execution.
- Advanced problem-solving skills and the ability to propose innovative solutions to non-standard challenges.
- Proven track record of working independently and mentoring less experienced engineers.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
- Valid US Driver License
