Job Description
Performs moderately complex functions related to machine tools, including planning, setting up, and operating lathes, mills, and grinders to machine parts to exacting tolerances and dimensions. Must have strong knowledge of machining equipment and ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
Requirements
- Associate's degree, technical/trade school training or equivalent
- Four or more years related experience
- Customer focus and ability to perform non-routine or moderately complex set-up and fabrication of machined parts
- Strong knowledge of machining equipment
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
- Independent judgment and problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
- Basic computer skills
