Job Description
Geeks on Site is seeking independent IT Field Technicians to provide on-site support to residential and small businesses. This role involves troubleshooting hardware/software, resolving network issues, and configuring printers/scanners. Technicians will be dispatched to customer sites based on their availability and work independently with a flexible schedule.
Requirements
- 2+ years of field IT support experience
- Familiarity with Canon, HP, and other common printer brands
- Knowledge of error code troubleshooting (Canon code 1700, boot issues, driver conflicts)
- Experience with both Windows (10/11) and macOS troubleshooting
- Personal tools (bootable USB, screwdriver set)
- Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license
- Smartphone with camera and data for documentation
- Ability to work independently and maintain a professional demeanor
