Job Description
The client seeking a highly skilled Estimator with a background in industrial, civil, or heavy construction to join their team. This role is responsible for preparing accurate project cost estimates by analyzing drawings, specifications, and site conditions, while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- Degree or diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Professional Designation: P.Eng. or eligible is highly preferred.
- Minimum 5 years in construction estimating, with a focus on industrial or heavy civil projects.
- Proficient in HeavyBid, Microsoft Excel, and project scheduling tools.
- Solid understanding of BC Building Code, MMCD standards, and construction contract types.
