Requirements

• Formal, professional qualification in meteorology
• Minimum 3 years' experience in producing marine weather forecasts
• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 software
• Clear understanding of QMS policies and practices
• Fluent in both written and spoken English
• Knowledge of winds and wave computer models
• Basic understanding of computer systems and networks
• Well-organised and able to manage varying workloads
• Team worker
• Able to cope and manage situations through demand spikes
• Decisive and willing to take responsibility
• Willingness to be on call and work extended hours if required
