Job Description
Marine Weather Forecaster responsible for preparation of Marine Weather Forecasts for clients engaged in offshore and near shore activities. Requires shift work and working on weekends and public holidays.
Requirements
- Formal professional qualification in meteorology
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in Marine Weather Forecasting
- Knowledge of wind, wave and ocean current computer models
- Previous experience working on offshore oil and gas facilities and vessels
- Basic understanding of computer systems and networks
- Fluent in both written and spoken English
