Workforce Development Hard Skills Group Facilitator

The Fortune Society is seeking a Workforce Development Hard Skills Group Facilitator to provide instruction in OSHA 30, Site Safety Training, and Scaffolding Training to individuals in custody at NYC DOC facilities. The facilitator will design and facilitate curricula, collaborate with the Transitional Services team, and maintain a positive working relationship with the agency's IT and Facilities team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field
• OSHA #500 Certification, SST Supervisor Card, and NYC DOB scaffold certifications
• A solid understanding of OSHA regulations and guidelines
• A background in construction safety and 3-5 years of experience
• High degree of computer proficiency and ability to provide instruction in basic computer skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work as an effective part of a team
• Ability to secure NYC DOC Volunteer Services clearance
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
