Sourcing Analyst

We are recruiting a Sourcing Analyst to join our Procurement team in Pittsburgh PA. Reporting into the Commodity Management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing commodity strategies to improve cost, productivity, quality, and innovation capabilities within the global supply base.

Requirements

• Develop and sustain high-efficiency, high-quality domestic and/or global sources of supply for materials and services.
• Execute commodity strategies and provide detailed reports, analysis, and sourcing or business-related presentations to staff and management.
• Assist in managing the global supply base through development of supplier scorecards and quarterly business reviews.
• Source wide range of materials and suppliers to strengthen the global supply base and support commodity strategies.
• Develop RFQs to competitively bid, evaluate, and select potential suppliers.
• Manage commodity spend using procurement processes & systems. Focus on price, quality, delivery, innovation, supply chain efficiency & working capital.
• Negotiate, implement, and manage supplier contracts.
• Use data analytics, industry benchmarking, and strategic sourcing methodologies to build a robust pipeline of PPV/VAVE cost savings initiatives.
• Stay current on new processes, techniques and supplier capabilities using continuous improvement tools.
• Lead low to moderate projects with cross-functional team, including suppliers, to successfully implement a commodity strategy, cost savings initiative or transition a source of supply.
• Collaborate with Fortive Category Managers to ensure best practices and greatest leverage in procurement, low-cost region sourcing, supplier assessment & management.
• Execute outsourcing and dual-sourcing initiatives within commodity space.
• Must be able to travel up to 10-20% to find, develop, and manage domestic and/or global sources of supply.
