Job Description
Fortis Games is seeking a Lead Technical Artist to shape the technical foundations of their art pipelines. This role involves independently designing solutions, optimizing workflows, and collaborating with senior leaders to deliver innovative, high-quality mobile gaming experiences. The position focuses on scalability, mentorship, and technical leadership in a dynamic team environment.
Requirements
- Extensive experience as a Technical Artist in game development
- Expertise in Unity and DCC tools (Blender, Substance, Maya, Photoshop)
- Proven track record of building and scaling cross-functional pipelines
- Strong programming/scripting skills in C# and Python
- Mastery of mobile performance optimization
- Hands-on experience with cutting-edge workflows (e.g., procedural generation, AI-assisted art, real-time rendering)
- Demonstrated success in mentoring and guiding Sr. ICs
