The Executive Assistant provides administrative support to the executive, handling confidential and time-sensitive material, and prepares routine and advanced correspondence. The position requires experience, judgment, and creativity to accomplish responsibilities, and may lead and direct the work of others.
Requirements
- Provides professional and confidential administrative support
- Types letters, itineraries, memoranda, minutes, and reports
- Composes letters and memoranda from dictation, verbal direction, or from knowledge of hospital policy or procedures
- Inputs and retrieves data using various computer software packages
- Participates in designated meetings and records meeting minutes
- Prepares, organizes, and duplicates material for Board and Board Committee meetings
- Assists the Board of Directors with the JCAHO survey process
- Answers telephones, prioritizes and directs calls, schedules meetings, and makes special arrangements
