The Executive Assistant provides administrative support to the executive, handling confidential and time-sensitive material, and preparing correspondence and reports. The position requires experience and judgment to accomplish responsibilities and may involve leading and directing the work of others.
Requirements
- Typing letters, itineraries, memoranda, minutes, and reports from written copy, Dictaphone equipment, and transcription equipment
- Composing letters and memoranda from dictation, verbal direction or from knowledge of hospital policy or procedures
- Efficiently inputs and retrieves data using various computer software packages
- Filing and organizing documents
- Participating in meetings and recording meeting minutes
- Assisting with JCAHO survey process
- Answering telephones, prioritizing and directing calls, scheduling meetings, and making special arrangements
- Arranging appointments and meetings, coordinating meeting and agenda materials
