Safety Officer

We are looking for a Safety Officer to join our Maintenance Organization in Sofia, Bulgaria.

Requirements

• Degree or diploma in Aviation Safety, Aeronautical Engineering, Aviation Management, or a related technical discipline
• Relevant experience or strong motivation to build a career in aviation safety, quality assurance, or compliance within a Part-145 environment
• Direct involvement in implementing or supporting a Safety Management System (SMS) in an EASA-regulated organization, under the supervision of a Safety Manager
• Strong understanding (or motivation to develop understanding) of EASA Part-145, Part-M/CAMO, and related compliance requirements
• Analytical mindset with the ability to assess risks and identify practical mitigations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to promote a strong safety culture
• Proficiency in written and spoken English (additional languages are an asset)
• High level of discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive safety information
• Strong organizational and report-writing skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and related software tools
