Job Description
Fanatics Betting & Gaming is seeking a Software Engineer II to join the Application Platform & Tooling team. This role focuses on designing, scaling, and improving the development tooling that powers their digital sports platform. The engineer will own core runtime abstractions, improve CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate with product teams to deliver efficient and reliable services.
Requirements
- 3+ years software engineering experience building reusable components or frameworks.
- Deep knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and Onion architecture.
- Strong proficiency in C#/.NET, API/library design, versioning, and backward-compatibility patterns.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD, developer tooling, and cloud-native delivery (Azure preferred).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Highly outcome-oriented, pragmatic, and capable of balancing quality with productivity.
