Provides trauma-focused diagnostic assessments and enhanced evidence-based services for children, youth and their caregivers in the community and in the office using evidence-based practices such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Trauma Systems Therapy (TST).
Requirements
- Master’s degree in human services (psychology, social work, marriage/family, etc) required
- Required to be licensed or eligible to be licensed in Rhode Island as a Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist or Mental Health Counselor
- Experience working with children exposed to trauma preferred
- Skilled in operating various medical record software and hardware, word-processing, and database software programs
- Spanish Speaking preferred and is compensated
- Excellent multitasking and communication skills a must
- Ability to work independently and part of a team
- Current driver’s license, reliable transportation, registration and auto insurance
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to lift up to 20lbs
- Must be able to work remotely and in person adhering to PHI requirements
- Bilingual/ASL skills are compensated by an additional 6%, above base pay
- Multilingual skills are compensated by an additional 8%, above base pay
