Managing Electrical Engineer or Physicist with a Background in Energy Systems (Ph.D.)

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer or Physicist with a background in energy systems for a Manager level role within our Electrical Engineering & Computer Science Practice in Oakland, CA or Menlo Park, CA. In this role, you will work as part of a team to combine electrical engineering principles and a range of investigative analysis techniques with robust subject-specific scientific expertise, to implement high-value solutions to complex technical problems.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, or a closely related field
• 3-5 years of relevant industry experience after completing a Ph.D.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills, and the ability to work independently or in multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to gather information and convey technical conclusions to individuals in engineering, business, and related industries
• Technical background in circuits, electronics or control systems
• Hands-on experience or a technical background in energy and power systems is a plus
