Job Description
We are seeking an Electrical Engineer or Physicist with a background in energy systems for our Electrical Engineering & Computer Science Practice in Oakland, CA. In this role, you will work as part of a team to combine electrical engineering principles and a range of investigative analysis techniques with robust subject-specific scientific expertise, to implement high-value solutions to complex technical problems.
Requirements
- Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, or a closely related field
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills, and the ability to work independently or in multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to gather information and convey technical conclusions to individuals in engineering, business, and related industries
- Technical background in circuits, electronics or control systems
- Hands-on experience or a technical background in energy and power systems is a plus
