We seek a qualified and competitive technologist to join our team as an xMatters Enterprise Sales Engineer. This role will work with our field sales to engage directly with clients and prospects to frame our solution within our Digital Operations pillar.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in SaaS solution presales with additional experience in development, devops, consulting and customer success management
- Experience with Cloud Native and Hybrid solutions
- Experience with Javascript, or a working knowledge of common development languages to enable basic scripting
- Bachelor’s degree in IT/Computer Science or similar certification/knowledge in a closely related field
- Experience or exposure to DevOps teams, tools, and culture
- Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)
- Configuration Management
- Monitoring/management solutions
- ITSM (helpdesk) solutions
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Demonstrated history as a public technical or company advocate through roundtable discussions, webinars, blogs or other articles
- Strong ability to engage with clients and build relationships
- Team player, with strong self-starter attitude
- Ability to handle objections and educate prospects in a consultative manner
