Will operate all types of equipment to perform safety functions and drive a Non CDL Straight Truck in the transportation of freight. Must be skilled and qualified to drive in all types of terrain and environmental conditions.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or General Educational Degree (GED) or equivalent background
- Valid driver's license
- Reside within 75 miles of the domiciled terminal and/or work assignment
- Stable employment history preferred
- Ability to operate a forklift (minimum 7,500 lb. vehicle)
- Ability to push or pull a loaded pallet jack and/or hand truck with a minimum load of 70 lbs.
- Physical activities include: standing, lifting, twisting, turning, climbing a ladder, etc.
- Ability to meet the FMCSA's requirements to speak and read English
- Ability to lift approximately 70 lbs., or more if required by the essential functions of the job
