Patient Service Representative (phones) - Primary Care Partners - South County

Esse Health is seeking a full-time Patient Service Representative to answer telephones, schedule patient appointments, and provide patients with test results.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 or more years of experience working with the public, preferably in a healthcare setting
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Knowledge of health insurance plans (HMOs, PPOs, etc.)
• Ability to recognize priority or emergency phone calls
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients
• Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient with Windows-based PC environment
