Job Description
Enlyft is looking for a Principal Data Scientist to contribute to its strong engineering culture. The role involves handling substantial datasets to develop machine learning models for enterprise clients and contributing to the development of foundational models for the product.
Requirements
- Bachelor or above degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, or related field
- 10+ years of industry experience in data science, machine learning, & advanced analytics
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Deep expertise in statistical modeling, machine learning, and predictive analytics
- Strong programming skills in Python and extensive experience with libraries such as pandas, numpy, scipy, and scikit-learn
- Experience with big data frameworks like Spark and Databricks
- Proficiency in working with large, high-dimensional datasets, integrating multiple data sources, and deriving meaningful insights
- Expertise in Generative AI (GenAI), including LLMs, transformer architectures, and diffusion models
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and working knowledge of ML model deployment (MLOps) and AI/ML lifecycle management
- Proficiency in databases, including SQL and NoSQL
