Job Description
Element is looking for an Employee Relations & HR Governance Manager to join their team. The role involves managing workplace issues and HR compliance across Element's global operations, with a strong emphasis on Canada and the United States.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Employment Law, Industrial Relations, or a related field
- Minimum 5-7 years of progressive HR experience, with a strong focus on employee relations (ER) and HR governance
- Demonstrated experience managing complex ER cases in Canada and the U.S. is required; global experience is an asset
- Deep knowledge and experience with Canadian and U.S. employment legislation
- Strong expertise in workplace investigations, policy development and risk management
- Ability to coach, influence, and build trust with stakeholders at all levels
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated discretion, professionalism, and judgment
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, matrixed, global environment
