Social Worker-Adolescent & Youth Programs

East Side House Settlement is a community resource in the South Bronx. We are seeking a dynamic, hard-working, and creative leader who shares our passion for providing exceptional programming to children and families in the Mott Haven neighborhood of the South Bronx.

Requirements

• Commitment to demonstrating ESH's organizational values of Excellence, Integrity, Compassion, Empathy, and Community
• New York State LMSW from an accredited school of social work preferred
• SIFI Certification strongly with at least one year's experience supervising social work interns
• Knowledge of the network of social services available to parents and families in New York
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Excellent oral and written communication/interpersonal skills as well as a desire to collaborate with various
• Ability to engage, build relationships, and demonstrate empathy with children and families
• Strong organizational skills and ability to coordinate multiple tasks and responsibilities
• Capacity to work independently and collaboratively with staff members
• Diverse cultural competence required
• Interest in and comfort with working with data informed practice
• Computer proficiency including Microsoft Word and Excel, email correspondence, and database management a requisite
