Peer Specialist (PT) - Alternatives For Youth

Join Our Team as a Part-Time Peer Specialist! EAC Network, a leading not-for-profit social service agency, is looking for a dedicated part time Peer Specialist to join the Alternative for Youth Program, providing peer support to families and assisting the Case Management unit in all aspects of its operations.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or educational equivalent required
• Minimum of three years sobriety as per funder requirements for persons in recovery
• Working knowledge of criminal justice issues, mental illness, substance abuse and/or adolescent behavior preferred
• Proficient in computer applications or other automated systems
• Valid New York State driver's license required
• Good communication skills, both oral and written
