Job Description
DroneSense is looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to help build, monitor, and secure its drone software platform for first responders. The ideal candidate will have experience with HA infrastructure on cloud-hosted systems, Kubernetes, and cloud security principles.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building HA infrastructure on cloud-hosted systems like AWS
- 3+ years of experience working with and maintaining Kubernetes
- 3+ years of experience working with Terraform
- 5+ years experience with Linux CLI
- Solid understanding of cloud security principles and compliance frameworks
- Advanced knowledge of working with Rancher for Kubernetes cluster provisioning
- Solid understanding of and experience working with AWS services (including Lambda, VPC, EC2, RDS, CloudWatch, ALB)
- Proficiency with scripting languages such as Bash or Python
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Gitlab, Github Actions
- Experience automating system configuration and provisioning (Terraform, AWS userdata, Cloudformation, Ansible, etc)
- Experience with nginx
