The Distributor Manager is responsible for overseeing Diageo's beer and pre-mix portfolio throughout Nevada. This role requires strategic decision-making, financial oversight, and effective management of distributor relationships to achieve business targets in a complex market environment.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in beer/wine/spirits commercial roles or similar CPG selling experience.
- Proven supervisory skills in wholesaler management; retail sales expertise in chain grocery/independent liquor/on-premise settings; thorough understanding of wholesaler operations/chains/customers/competitive activity/market information/quality standards.
- Well-developed financial acumen with previous ownership of pricing/budgets. Strong knowledge of Distributor Operations. Insight into On/Off Trade dynamics. Experience managing across multiple functions. Strong influencing/negotiation skills; proven track record for collaboration/accountability across departments.
- Persuasive selling, problem solving; planning/organizing; proficiency in MS office; financial acumen; excellent written/verbal communication; extremely positive; excellent negotiator; exhibits independence, resiliency and tenacity. Process oriented. Understands and applies interdependencies across functions. Understands & uses data in critical decision making. Ability to engage, influence, and coordinate stakeholders who have different strategic initiatives.
