Operational Policy Analyst

We're looking for an Operational Policy Analyst to join our Engagement and Data Innovation group at Te Tari Taiwhenua, the Department of Internal Affairs. The role involves designing and delivering operating models, procedures, standards, and guidance that support our regulatory systems.

Requirements

• Experience in regulatory or operational policy work
• Ability to translate complex legislation into clear, usable processes
• Leadership and project management skills
• Understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and working in partnership with Māori
• Effective communication and relationship-building skills
• Relevant degree in fields such as law or policy, or equivalent experience
