Senior Actuarial Consultant

We are currently looking for a passionate actuarial professional to join our team in Athens. As a Senior Actuarial Consultant, you will participate in a range of services at every stage of the insurance lifecycle, from product development and launch to reserving, pricing, and monitoring, capital optimization, actuarial modeling, risk management, M&A due diligence, and other actuarial consulting engagements for a range of local and international clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics or similar field with strong quantitative focus
• Master's degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics or similar field with strong quantitative focus will be an asset
• Progress in actuarial certification with the Hellenic Actuarial Society or another recognized body
• At least 3 years of professional experience within the insurance industry
• Experience in the insurance sector, with expertise in Solvency II, IFRS 17, and actuarial modeling will be evaluated positively
• Technical background in actuarial techniques in pricing and reserving will be considered an asset
• Experience in using actuarial software (Prophet, ResQ, Emblem etc.) will be considered as an asset
• Experience in analyzing data, working with large datasets, developing descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive models, and visualizing data (using tools such as R, Python, SQL, PowerBI, etc.) will also be positively assessed
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues at all levels
• Taking initiatives on the upside opportunity in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English & Greek
• Military obligations fulfilled where applicable
