Actuarial Analyst

We are currently looking for a passionate actuarial professional to join our team in Athens. As an Actuarial Analyst, you will participate in a range of services at every stage of the insurance lifecycle, from product development and launch to reserving, pricing, and monitoring, capital optimization, actuarial modeling, risk management, M&A due diligence, and other actuarial consulting engagements for local and international clients. You will engage regularly with stakeholders to ensure the delivery of services at the highest standards and collaborate closely with professionals across various divisions and external partners to deliver comprehensive services that meet client needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or any other field with a strong quantitative focus
• Master's degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or any other field with a strong quantitative focus (asset)
• Pursue the actuarial certification in the Hellenic Actuarial Society or any other internationally recognized actuarial society
• 0-2 years of professional experience within the insurance industry
• Experience in analyzing data, working with large datasets, developing descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive models, and visualizing data using tools such as R, Python, SQL, PowerBI, etc.
• Experience in using actuarial software (Prophet, ResQ, Emblem, etc.)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues at all levels
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English & Greek
