The Computer Help Desk Technician provides technical support to government customers, maintaining computer systems, printers, VoIP telephones, and managing IT asset inventory. This role focuses on troubleshooting hardware and software issues, user training, and ensuring accurate IT asset tracking. The role requires strong customer service and technical skills, and relies on a proven track record of providing excellent customer service and technical support.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Security+ or equivalent DoD 8140 certification.
- 5+ years of experience in computer support or IT customer service.
- Experience with computer hardware, software, and printer maintenance.
- Experience with government IT asset management (ITAM) systems preferred.
- Active Secret clearance from the U.S. Government required.
