D-ploy is an IT and Engineering Solutions company looking for a Desktop Support Engineer for onsite deployment in Norderstedt, Germany. The job involves providing first- and second-level IT support, processing incidents and service requests, and supporting IT onboarding of new employees.
Requirements
- First point of contact on site for IT matters of end-users
- Provision of first- and second-level IT support (hardware, software, mobile devices, and peripherals)
- Fast and professional support of users (desk-side and remote)
- Careful documentation of all activities and solutions in the ticketing system
- Support in IT onboarding of new employees (device setup and short briefing)
- Maintenance and expansion of knowledge base documentation
- Support for initiatives to continuously improve IT services
- Fluent German skills and communicative English skills
- Minimum 2 years of experience in IT support or onsite support
- Well-developed troubleshooting skills in the Windows environment and with common IT tools
- Experience with ticketing systems (e.g. ServiceNow)
- Excellent communication skills and a service-oriented working approach
- Ability to work independently in an onsite customer environment
- Structured, reliable, and detail-oriented working approach
- Experience in regulated environments (e.g. GxP) is an advantage
