Job Description
Cole, Scott & Kissane is seeking a full-time Paralegal for its Fort Lauderdale office. The ideal candidate will have experience in civil litigation, particularly in General Liability, Employment Law, and Condominium Litigation. They will also have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent problem-solving skills.
Requirements
- Prior civil litigation experience
- Familiarity with L & A codes and billing software
- Proven competency to capture time and bill according to guidelines
- Ability to multi-task and stay calm under pressure
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work well within a team environment
- Familiarity with court procedures and extensive experience with researching, scheduling, drafting legal documents, and filing pleadings in state and federal courts
