Battery Modelling Specialist

Corvus Energy is expanding its Research & Technology team with a Battery Modeling Specialist. This role is central to ensuring accurate SOC, SOH, SOR, and lifetime modeling—critical for both product performance and class society approvals.

Requirements

• Develop and refine models for SOC, SOH, SOR, and lifetime estimation of LFP cells
• Implement algorithms in Python and Simulink, with emphasis on Kalman filters and advanced estimation techniques
• Automate workflows from cell test results to validated models
• Collaborate with different disciplines to integrate models into Corvus’ control, diagnostics, and optimization applications
• Contribute to ongoing EU research projects, benefiting from a wide European expert network and access to shared expertise and datasets
• Simulate operational conditions to optimize battery system performance and support certification processes
