Job Description
CoreSite is seeking a SkillBridge Data Center Technician to assist in the operational integrity, security, and regulatory compliance of their data centers. The technician will gain hands-on experience in various areas like mechanical, electrical, and fire safety, as well as data center operating procedures. This is an exclusively for Military Spouse Fellows or Active-duty US military personnel transitioning out of the military to civilian workforce.
Requirements
- Firm understanding of electrical and mechanical systems in a data center.
- Knowledge of fiber optics/cabling infrastructure.
- Proficiency in data trending and tracking.
- Ability to operate computer hardware and manage systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
