Job Description
We are a rapidly growing private youth sports organization in Brampton, Ontario, seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Basketball Development Coach. The role involves delivering high-quality basketball coaching to players of all ages, planning training sessions, assisting with recruitment, and assisting with administrative tasks. Experience as a coach and knowledge of basketball fundamentals are essential.
Requirements
- Deliver up to 15 hours of basketball coaching per week
- Plan and execute additional training sessions
- Provide individualized feedback and guidance
- Assist in recruitment and selection
- Design and implement training programs
- Collaborate with other coaches and staff
- Schedule training and tournaments
- Keep accurate records
- Develop initiatives to increase participation
