Job Description
Cognex is seeking a Senior Field Service Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4-6 years of relevant technical experience in Industrial / Manufacturing / Field Service environments. The role involves developing on-site modifications, planning and performing engineering assignments, and providing high-level training and mentorship.
Requirements
- Develop on-site modifications to electrical, optical and/or mechanical systems
- Plan and perform on-site engineering assignments
- Serve as the first point of contact for customers on administrative and technical matters
- Provide high-level training or mentorship to new engineers and customers
- Conduct ongoing assessment of partners to ensure expected standards and quality are maintained
