Job Description
Coastal Alaska Premier Seafoods is seeking a Seafood Processor to work aboard a Northern Hawk, operating off the western coasts of Washington and Alaska. This role involves processing raw fish products into a high-quality product, sorting fish, operating machines, handling cargo, and maintaining a clean workspace. Previous processing experience on a Factory Trawler is strongly preferred.
Requirements
- Previous Processing experience aboard a Factory Trawler
- Crewmember must be capable of working consecutive, long and variable shifts including loading and unloading.
- Ability to work at sea for extended periods of time.
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and fractions.
- Ability to apply basic functions to American currency, weight, distance and volumes.
- Ability to perform basic functions in stressful, noisy environments and adverse weather conditions.
