Job Description
The Supported Employment Specialist provides community-based services under the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) model to help individuals with mental/behavioral health conditions obtain and maintain employment. The role involves engagement, assessment, job placement, job coaching, and follow-along supports.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Sociology, Counseling, Psychology, Criminal Justice, or other Human Services field
- Specialized training or one year of experience in treating and working with individuals with mental illness
- Valid and unrestricted Driver's License
- Proficient with computers, Microsoft office products, and electronic health records
- Ability to work closely with individuals with mental or physical limitations
