The Intellectual Developmental Disability Team Supervisor oversees a team of support coordinators to ensure quality service delivery for individuals with disabilities or other needs. The role requires leadership and supervision skills, as well as expertise in IDD program operations and quality care initiatives.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy
- State licensure: Licensed Master’s Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Limited-Licensed Psychologist (LLP)
- Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP)
- At least 2 years of IDD and Mental Health field work
- At least 2 years of master level experience in the examination, evaluation, and evaluation of children with severe emotional disturbances
- Working knowledge of conflict resolution and crisis intervention
- Proficient with computers and Microsoft office products
- Proficient in the use of electronic health records (EHRs)
- Ability to work closely with persons with mental or physical limitations
- Ability to understand and value cultural and ethnic differences, their alternatives perspectives, lifestyles, etc.
- Ability to write clear, concise reports and the ability to formulate and implement an effective treatment plan.
- Ability to work collaboratively and build positive working relationships
- Ability to recognize the importance of collecting and reporting on outcome data
- Ability to apply methods for measuring the multiple variables of treatment outcome
- Ability to communicate effectively, professionally, and courteously
- Ability to use discretion and judgmental when handling matters of a sensitive or confidential nature
- Advanced time management, problem solving, customer service, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to be forward thinking and take initiative to accomplish goals and objectives of the department
