CEVA Logistics is seeking a Field Sales Executive II to establish relationships with new customers and secure contracts through direct and indirect sales methods. The role involves driving the entire sales cycle from initial customer engagement to close sales, building and maintaining a healthy sales pipeline, and providing forecasts on best case and sales volumes. The ideal candidate has logistics, transportation, supply chain knowledge and 5+ years of experience, with a hunter mentality and business-to-business sales experience. Requirements
- Logistics, transportation, supply chain knowledge +5 years
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Will accept 10+ years' experience in leu of bachelor's degree in sales in transportation
- Hunter mentality
- Business to Business sales experience with demonstrated history of sales achievements in a base plus commission environment
- Experience closing sales at the executive level
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (including PowerPoint), internet, web-based and job specific software applications
- Ability to generate complex, error-free charts, graphs, spreadsheets, and presentations
- Self-motivated
- Able to achieve results by working independently with little or no supervision
- Sense of urgency and follow-up
- Strongly developed persuasive skills, proven negotiation skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think and respond quickly to sales and service issues
