Job Description
The Water Facilities Asset Management (WFAM) Unit has an open opportunity to work with a dynamic team of individuals, focusing on the lifecycle renewal of vertical water and wastewater facility assets. The position involves developing, managing and tracking the identified services Rehabilitation budget, being a point of contact and representing Asset Management on projects, and participating in decision making and prioritization of rehabilitation needs.
Requirements
- Completion of 4 year university degree in Engineering or Applied Science from a recognized university, preferably in a Civil, Electrical, Mechanical or Municipal Engineering related discipline
- Minimum of 8 years of progressively responsible and practical experience in municipal engineering field with thorough knowledge of infrastructure system design, construction, operation and maintenance
- Proven leadership and supervisory experience
- Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO)
