Visitor Service Attendant – Museum Attendant – Summer Student

The Visitor Services Attendant – Museum Attendant is responsible for assisting in the overall operation of the Lloydminster Museum & Archives and Weaver Heritage Park, with a focus on program development, support, and implementation. The successful candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be comfortable working with children, and able to effectively deal with the public.

Requirements

• Must be creative, outgoing, and comfortable working with small groups of children in a hands-on learning setting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Must be able to effectively and tactfully deal with the public.
• Must be comfortable handling cash, reconciling a cash till, and conducting daily deposits
• An interest in history is considered an asset.
• Must be able to work outdoors in inclement weather and in unheated historical buildings, and perform manual duties, such as gardening, painting, string trimming, moving equipment, and operating a City of Lloydminster fleet vehicle.

Benefits
