Distribution & Collection Operator – Seasonal (Non-Certified – Class 1)

The Distribution and Collection Operator (Non-certified – Class 1) will assist in daily tasks, including inspections, testing, and repairing of Water and Wastewater attributes. The successful candidate will have a valid Class 5 Operator’s License and grade 12 education. Enrollment in post-secondary for Environmental Sciences, Water and Wastewater Technician, or Water Treatment Technology is an asset.

Requirements

• Enrollment in post-secondary for Environmental Sciences, Water and Wastewater Technician, or Water Treatment Technology
• Valid Class 5 Operator’s License
• Grade 12 education
• Saskatchewan Water Distribution Operator Class 1 or Wastewater Collection Operator Class 1 certification or equivalent
• Understanding of technology such as computers and tablets
• Ability to understand, interpret as-builts and drawings in Water and Wastewater field
