Aquatic Center Leader- Department of Recreation & Parks

An Aquatic Center Leader plans, promotes, oversees and conducts aquatic programs at a community aquatic center. The city offers medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, optional life, AD&D, and FSA plans, as well as wellness programs, support groups, and workshops.

Requirements

• Graduated from an accredited high school or possession of a GED certificate
• Three (3) years of experience in aquatics recreational activities including teaching swimming lessons
• Hold and maintain the following certificates issued by the American Red Cross: Lifeguard Certificate, Lifeguard Instructor Certificate, Water Safety Instructor Certificate, Certified Pool Operator
