Job Description
The Recreation Leader II assists the Recreation Center Director in coordinating, planning, administrating, supervising and conducting recreational and cultural programs at a recreation center and/or pool.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a GED certificate
- Three years of experience in leading recreation activities
- Knowledge of the rules and regulations of a wide variety of sports, games and recreational activities
- Knowledge of basic first-aid techniques
- Knowledge of the use and care of recreational equipment
- Ability to plan and organize recreational activities
- Ability to work effectively with large groups of people
- Ability to maintain discipline and order
- Ability to maintain records
