Data Quality Analyst

The Data Quality Analyst 1 is a developing professional role that requires a good knowledge of processes, procedures, and systems. The role involves participating in the establishment and implementation of Data Quality processes and contributing to improvement and performance activities by providing measurement, evaluation, and assessment services.

Requirements

• Uses professional judgment, discretion, and business expertise to provide feedback on issues that have notable impact on the business.
• Resolves problems by identifying and selecting solutions using acquired technical experience and guided by precedents.
• Communicates with tact and diplomacy to exchange potentially complex/sensitive information with project stakeholders or internal parties.
• Accountable for monitoring, assessing, analysing, and/or evaluating processes and data to ensure their effectiveness and identify areas for improvement
• Identifies and interprets trends, patterns, or inconsistencies in complex data sets, defines business issues, and formulates recommendations on policies, procedures, or practices
• Presents information in a concise and logical way, and is sensitive to audience diversity
• Reports Data Quality defects through the Data Concern Remediation Management process
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable rules, laws, and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgement regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating managing and reporting control issues with transparency
